General & Cosmetic
Appearance and aesthetics are often an important element of dental treatment for patients, especially when it comes to repaired or replacement teeth.
Our belief is that the function and the health of your teeth and mouth should always come first, but that the cosmetic aspect of our work together also has a huge impact on your overall health, self-confidence and well-being.
It is said that people that smile often live an average of 7 years longer than those that don't and that smiling can improve your overall health, elevate your mood and boost your immune system. Source: Psychology Today
We take great pains to make sure that your teeth are clean and look good, and that any prosthetic teeth, crowns and dentures that we make for you are as natural looking as possible.
We can add veneers if appropriate and we can restore damaged and discolored teeth to improve the look of your smile as well as its function and overall health.
There is both an art and a science to the work we do and we take both sides very seriously. We believe in "the form of function" and that things that work well will by their very nature, also look good.
Due to an extended illness, my teeth were severely discolored and damaged. Not only did Dr. Emmer restore my mouth to full health and function, but everything looked amazing. I hadn't smiled in years and now I can't stop.
Dr. Emmer replaced the crowns I've had on my two front teeth since a childhood accident. I always hated how they were so much bigger and brighter than the rest of my teeth. They screamed "fake." The new crowns Dr. Emmer built are the right size and color. They look far more natural and now people can't believe it when I tell them they aren't my original teeth.
